BIGPRU.com 1 Day until the move
Some of you may have already heard, my car was broken into AGAIN late Thursday night. Yeah, it sucks but mainly because this time they busted out the locks on my drivers side door and trunk. They only got away with my CD player ($80) and 2 6x9 pioneer speakers ($50), so on the bright side they left my paintball gun and they basically COULD have easily made away with $500 more. In an attempt to keep my anger at a low level I drew a description of the theif.
I just finished watching this special on the history channel called Meteors: Fire in the Sky. While viewing I realized a disturbing trend, they like to equate a meteor strike to megatons of TNT or Hiroshima nuclear bombs. It's like when you hear the government is spending billions of dollars on some project, I doubt most people (including myself) would comprehend the difference between 190 million and 190 billion if you heard it in the news. So what I learned is: a meteor the size of Texas that stuck the earth would be the force of 100 megatons of TNT OR 71 Hiroshima nuclear bombs! I liken this to my childhood memory of a trip to Grandma's house being two Sesame Streets and a Mr Rodger's Neighborhood.
I found this blog tool the other day, it's called w.bloggar. So far I am liking it, it will make posting in multiple blogs easier. I will let you know how it fairs after I post THIS blog... now.
